Well as most everyone has said it was "HOT" heard 104' on Saturday, then Sunday late afternoon it started thundering when Steeple Chase was under way.
Our Dam Team Barb D Zesty Mia Grant with Starlet did amayzingly well and made the 1st place DAM team award...lovely plaque BTW. Thanks ladies for making it a success. It was my first tim egetting all the way thru snooker at a big event. I felt my mind shutting down going to the closing....no no I told myself the closing is easy, so I tredged on fortunatley Kitt took a nasty approach to the #2 dbl heading to a tunnel, thank good ness the bar stayed 55# pts:)
Steeple Chase & GP R2 were lovely runs with one little bo bo each. But she is just running great. Kitt alwo won Team Jumpers adn aroud 14th on TGamblers.
Gemmie picked up two needed starters q's in pairs and Jef Blake ran her in Snookers and tied for 1st but Jim Basics young Sweep was a little quicker and won 1st. Her contacts were greatly improved, start line ify she was not sitting upon request nor downing on request so we left the course on Sat std. SUn she was better sat all 3 times and eventually got into a down on the table after she nq by flying off the back side of the table. But all she needs is two standards and a gamblers to move to Advance. Contacts will be a work in progress for a while.
Thank Sandy & Mike Rowan for letting all us girls stay at your lovely home just 15 minutes for the show site. sorry about the sheet L(: Mike is a great cook and home maker what a big help he is in the house and with the dogs.
Best go for now, leaving wk in a hour for a 4th jULY weekend in the San Juans...I am already laying on the beach watching the girls frolick in the water.

Sounds like a heavenly 4th weekend! WOW! And congrats on a GREAT showing at Regionals--SOOO much fun! Nice, as always to see you guys run! Sorry, I didn't get to see Gemmie run, maybe I was icing my sore bum...
Congratulations Blynn, Kitt and Gem! I think I only saw one run and that was Gem in Starters Standard, she's looking good. Have a nice time in the San Juans, hopefully you caught an early ferry.
Hope all had a safe fun weekend.
The girls and the car is filthy from left over dust at NWRegionals, San Juans. Nikki throughly enjoyed rolling....just rolling in the dust nothing smelly under it just rolling. Kitt found her ususal deer poop but some how managed not to smell herself up. Gem well she is getting new experiences under her belt. They all had a grand time as did I with ny brother Bruce and Dorian at the fire works Friday, movie Sat & shopping Sun. They have this lovely 20 acres atop a large rock base. The remodel of the old place is still under way but the inside is mostly done. Its kind of wierd the outside is just old and lived in look :) The inside very fancy appliances and furniture, pictures, linens and things ..oh should I touch that...ran thru my mind many times. But I am use to it and when talking to them they are not that way...well my brother can be sometimes. Dorian is a dear and always generous with her time and efforts. They have a 30' pull trailer decorated the same way so I had my own little bunglaoo this time. Loved it could hang out, sleep, eat, watch movie, hang out with them talk about religion a bit which none of us are active in anylonger. So it can become a whos who of whos not anymore going to the Kingdom Hall, hike with the girls and do it all over again all thru out the weekend.
LM seminar was really nice very clear expectations about come to heel yet focus was on the whole package and quing the dog well once past foundation level.
Need to go now lunch is over and must get us back to 1st place in the corporate competition of who has the least provider hold this week:)
